Sharp and precise, our Gracey Curettes are used to remove both supragingival and subgingival calculus in specific areas of the mouth. Gracey 13/14 is for use on posterior teeth distal surfaces; Anterior teeth mesial and distal surfaces.

Instructions for use:

1. Grip the Instrument: Begin by holding the instrument with a modified pen grasp for optimal control.

2. Position the Blade: Align the blade so it points directly toward the tooth surface you plan to scale (see Figure 1).
   
   

3. Adjust the Handle: Bend the custom-fit handle over your index finger at an angle of 10 to 15 degrees (refer to Figure 2).
   
   

4. Start Scaling: Once adjusted, you can proceed with the scaling process.

The ErgoFlex adaptive handle can also be used straight as a conventional instrument.
