"DoWell is an excellent company and I’m never shy to express this. The only problem is that your instruments don’t BREAK and therefore no need to buy too many kits… I am looking forward to our future collaboration."

ErgoFlex Green Instrument | H1026 | H 6/7

This product has a patent, solidifying its status as a groundbreaking advancement in dental instrumentation. Its unique design and innovative features are protected, providing practitioners with exclusive access to its unparalleled benefits.

Key Features:

  • Stays Strong: Rigid shank can handle even the most tenacious deposits.
  • Thermally Insulated: Lightweight silicone handle improves comfort to index finger and thumb.
CustomizableAdaptive core fits size & shape of your hand. Scientifically proven to significantly reduce muscle work.
  • Fit Feel The GripComfortable, rigid grip area efficiently transfers lateral forces for effective deposit removal.
  • High Quality BladesSuperior metal that maintains blade sharpness longer and can be resharpened.
  • Enhance Tactile FeedbackNovel design feature to improve tactile feedback while enhancing comfort during scaling.

ErgoFlex Features:

  • A novel adaptive curette handle design, enables the clinician to adapt the instrument across the index finger, consequently reduce musculoskeletal burden and fatigue, as well as improve comfort during periodontal instrumentation.
•> Dental hygiene ranks first among all occupations in the US with regard to the prevalence of carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS), musculoskeletal diseases (MSDs), and upper extremity disorders.
  • The adaptive curette handle was designed to address multiple variables that have been shown to have a positive impact on the ergonomic performance of repetitively used hand tools.
  • A design that ensures maximum contact between the instrument handle and the hand and fingers allows for an efficient transfer of forces from the operator to the instrument and avoids ineffective work by the clinician.
•> The design of the instrument allows the handle to adapt more closely than linear instruments to the shape of the fingers and hand during use. This feature likely contributed considerably to the reduced amount of work.
  • Electromyography (EMG) and surface Electromyography data evidencing the lesser amount of muscle work and significantly lower levels of fatigue and better comfort using adaptive curette.
  • The adaptive curette reduces loading per unit area of the fingers and hand during scaling by spreading the instrumentation weight and forces over a wider area of the index finger, thus reducing stress on musculoskeletal structures.
  • The softer handle with a larger diameter is more comfortable and less stressful on the musculoskeletal system than the narrower conventional stainless-steel handle.
  • The adaptive design provided the clinician with improved instrument access to all areas of the mouth while maintaining a healthy finger, hand, and wrist position. This property will contribute to musculoskeletal health and clinical efficacy by reducing the need for postural misalignments during instrumentation.
